These truly Catholic Canopy panels will be available in the near future. If your parish wants to invest in a canopy that will last for decades, and is a work of art, this is for you.
I estimate at this time that it would come to about $US1990 for the four panels.
You will receive each Canopy Panel as one, long piece of embroidered silk. The seven sections, fringing, tassles, trimming and sewing work will be carried out by you, unless you require me to make the Canopy for you. The ornateness, and 'European-ness' of this canopy comes from the lovely shape of the seven sections, and on closer inspection, from the metallic trimming. Take a good look at the photos.
If you can provide the sewing labour yourself, you can invest in this and create a stunning Processional Canopy. The panels are embroidred on silk. These would need to be stabilised with a sew-in interlining, such as Shapewell (heavier weight). This will stop any puckering occuring when the panel is trimmed. Using smaller stitches also keeps things under control. If you want silk lining, I can provide this to you at near trade cost for such a project as this.
