History

This business began as a strong inspiration in March 1993, which finally led to a brave investment of $AU54 in February of 1998 to buy just over two yards of pure linen. I had been trained by Traditional Catholic sisters in the late 1980's to make Altar Linens, surplices and basic vestment work, and this seemed like a wonderful idea, one that was at least worth a try. Despite the methodical training I had received, most of the methods and techniques I use in production have been worked out by me over the years, and for that reason, are and remain my intellectual property, as does the research information. During the early years, I lived from day to day, not knowing where even my next meal would come from. Thankfully, due to the aid of St. Joseph, a very supportive American clientel and 'ebay', the business has progressed to a worthwhile concern. I have sent goods to the US, England, Scotland, Ireland, France, VATICAN CITY!, Singapore, New Zealand, Phillipines, Canada, within Australia and also to Italy. People have written to me from all over the world, either to inquire after vestments, or to say how happy they are to find that someone is engaged in this type of industry. I provide the entire spectrum of sacristy items, custom crafted to your requirements. Please email me anytime! May God bless you, SUSAN MARIA EVANS
