This is five piece Marian Roman Vestment set, comprising Roman Chasuble, Stole, Maniple, Burse and Chalice Veil. The set is almost finished, and at this stage (September 24th,2025), allows for the addition of the Emblem of your choice to be sewn to the back of the Chasuble. The price covers the Emblem addition. Just email me and ask about your design idea for the emblem. I am planning on creating the emblem background from Cloth of Silver.
The fabric used in this stunning creation is the high quality, British 'St. Margaret' fabric in white/gold as shown. It contrasts beautifully with the Cross Panel on the back of the Chasuble, which is created from a Byzantine blue/gold fabric. Edged in burgundy and gold rayon trimming imported from Greece, as well as narrow Maltese Cross trimming. The set is lined in pale blue cotton, except the Burse, which is lined in pure silk. Beautiful, custom embroidered Crosses are found on the Stole, Maniple, Burse and Chalice Veil. NOTE: *A slight variation in shades occurs on the Burse Cross.
CHASUBLE
The Roman Chasuble measures approximately 41" back length. It is ornamented with blue/gold Cross and front Panels, trimmed as shown, interlined and lined. Extensively trimmed as shown.
STOLE: The Stole measures 42", and is trimmed as shown.
MANIPLE: The Maniple measures 21" in length.
BURSE: 9" square
CHALICE VEIL: 22" square. (The Chalice Veil gives a very good idea of what a Dalmatic in this fabric would be like!)
