This is a very beautifully designed Cope, made in the Spanish Style. The fabric in this price range is real metal, and this cope design is available in all Liturgical Colors, except Rose. Cotton Velveteen has been used to provide geometric harmony in the design. The trim used is an antique looking metallic trim, highly suited to vestment embellishment. Rich real metal tassled fringing is worked around the Cope Hood, which is attached to the Cope back via buttons that have been covered in matching fabric.
The entire Cope takes extensive work and precision to craft.
The cope is fully lined, and has 'Morse' closure on the front (which means it has the 'bar' across the front, rather than Cope Clasps). If you would like Cope clasps, that is fine. The Morse closure is secured with very strong snaps.
You will not get that 'Austrian Blind' effect with this cope, when viewed from the back. A special technique has been employed to allow movement in the cope and lining, which changes with each wearer.
