This is a lovely, inspiring vestment, crafted in honour of the Holy Ghost.
The back of the Chasuble has an embroidery of the Holy Spirit, which actually looks as if it was taken from an even older Chasuble. It has an 18th century look about it. Filling the Cross on the back of the Chasuble, and the front panel, is extensive embroidery of flowers, and Latin text, taken from that glorious Gregorian Chant sequence from the Mass of Pentecost, the 'Veni Sancte Spiritus'. Ask any traditional Catholic priest or seminary whether these words have 'impact', 'clout' and good old fashioned theology behind them, not to mention keeping the devil at bay...
