This is a very nice Chalice Veil with matching Burse set, crafted from a high quality pure 100% silk. The shade is a deep red.
The Chalice Veil is embroidered as shown, and both the Veil and the Burse are trimmed with narrow gold thread imported French galloon.
I have only ever made four of these Chalice Veils. This design was required for the restoration of an antique set of vestments, that was missing the Chalice Veil and Burse. It took four careful stitchouts of the embroidery design, to finally get the best results. The fourth Veil and matching Burse were sold several years ago, along with the stunning chasuble, Stole and Maniple.
