This message board is for the discussion of Mum's illness and related issues.

It is a forum where our family can hope to have reasonable, open communications with each other. 

The most important thing is that our mother receive encouragement, compassion and all the care that can possibly be given, without intruding on mum's need to still maintain as much independance as possible.  Mum needs to know that we are praying for her, and that we support her in her decision and outlook regarding medical treatments.
